GOALS!

Who sets goal? I am a compulsive goal setter, daily, weekly, monthly maybe even hourly. the problem for me is follow through. I think the key to setting successful goals is organization and motivation. And sad to say I lack both most days. We all have the excuses ( kids, housework, tired the list is endless) the question is how do we move past the road blocks?

I have set a goal for myself to become healthy this year, mind, body and soul. I am starting with my body. Eating and moving more. I want to be healthy all around and I feel like changing the way I eat and move will help with ME to keep the motivation rolling for the mind and soul part too.

In the past 7 weeks I have lost 8lbs. Slow and steady wins the race! I feel better already:) Making small little goals inside the big goal has been helping me along the way. For example I have a goal to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I also have a couple friends helping me along the way motivating me and for the competition in it too. It helps to have a good support system when pursuing any goal. I will keep you updated on my progress.  I would love to hear any tips and tricks you may have in keeping your goals alive and current:) Or if you just need support and want to share, feel free....sometimes just putting it out in the universe helps!
